Memories…

..1st of November… Noong bata ako ang akala ko pag November 1, ay araw nang mga nakakatakot… Kasi naman halos lahat nang palabas sa T.V. is puro katatakutan and kababalaghan… Mga kwento tungkol sa multo at kung ano-ano pa… Dyan pa yung nagtitipon-tipon kayong magkakalaro and then nagkwe-kwentuhan nang mga nakakatakot, scary experience… or di kaya talagang mananakot kayo… Pero ang November 1 is All Saint’s Day diba!? And ang November 2 naman ang All Soul’s Day… So ano ang nakakatakot doon!? Kaya while time passing by, medyo nababago paunti-unti ang aking pananaw… As I remember, after ko mabisita si mom dadaan pa muna ako sa mga friends ko and papasyal kami sa ibang cemetery… Makikiupo at makikitulos sa ibang libingan pero ang pakay pala ay yung crush nyang girl, na panay pa-cute naman… Hahahaha… Then yung iba, magi-ipon pa noong mga natunaw na kandila then gagawing bola… Then pag medyo mabigat-bigat na is binebenta doon sa kanto… I gues… 10 Peso yata per kilo ang bentahan noon… Yung iba mautak pa! Nilalagyan pa nang bato para bumigat! Pero syempre mas mautak yung bumibili, kasi dudurgugin nya yung mga kandilang binilog bago nya timbangin… Ang ginagawa ko naman is iniipon ko rin yung mga candle wax then gumagawa ako nang heart shape, then I kept it and put it beside my altar… I did the same too last year… Now lang ako hindi nakagawa ‘Coz ginawa kong subject for my phtogoraphy yung candle and one more thing is walang gaanong patak yung candle na sinindihan ko…

..Anyway, hindi ko man nabisita ang himlayan nang aking mother ngayon and my other relatives on their memorial… I say a little prayer for them and remember those happy day’s when we we’re together… Those good times and memories they shared with me… The laughter’s, the things they gave and they taught me many things in life…

..For my Mom, thank you so much for everything… Even we spent a little time in this world… I know how much you love us; your family and the things you’ve given and done for us are un-replaceable… The love that’s still here with me… Same with my Grandpa’s Grandma, Uncle’s…. I am very thankful for all of you who have been part of my life… I miss you all…

I really want to post and share this movie that we’ve watched before… The title of the movie is The Ultimate Gift, that touched my heart and keep my tears falling… a Fox Faith Movies production also the distributor of The Passion of the Christ a Mel Gibson film, Love’s Abiding Joy from the best selling author Janette Oke and film by Michael Landon Jr., One Nigt with the King, and End of the Spear which both movie I have too…

Nakaka-touch talaga itong movie and I would recommend this to anyone, especially to families… This movie is one of the most powerful touching movie… It has a message about a young man who has to find out there is more to life then money, that being apart of a family who loves you is the most important thing in life. Finding the ultimate gift is like finding your place in the world, what are you here for? What is your purpose? There is an incredible amount of value in this message and it is something people of all ages can learn from. Kaya If you not seen this movie… Try to watch it and for sure it will change you in some means…

I guess each one of us have already some of those gift but, we don’t give enough importance on the other gift which is just around us waiting to be notice and to be practice… I remember before, on the 3rd day or the last day of our youth encounter with my classmate way back from our fourth year high school days… The lecturer told us… Sa paglabas naming ng cursillo house, after three weeks or less ay may babalik ulit sa mga dating kalokohan, sa mga bisyo and so on… for short makakalimutan ang mga good moral values na natutunan namin… which is normal daw… but she challenge us to try practicing it everyday up to malampasan namin ang three weeks and so on… Well, actually medyo mahirap, but I keep on practicing it up to now… Eventhough hindi ko nagagawa lahat but I’ll keep and trying on doing those… And one effect sa akin is paminsan-minsan emotional ako and I guess normal naman sa atin…

It’s nice to be posted…

This morning, Neil called and informed me that my name was in Arab News ‘coz one of my shot during the concert of Prime Note Ensemble (PNE) in ARAMCO, Al-Khobar last Thursday was chosen by Ka Pepe (Jose De Luna) to be posted in one of the review page of Arab News… last Tuesday, Ka Pepe emailed me and he was asking for a copy of my shots during the concert and he’s saying that he will post it on Arab News… Wow! Syempre flattered ako and the same time proud… But, I am not expecting na tototohanin ni Ka Pepe yun… I thought biro lang and one of his way of motivating us to enhace our skills in photography… But not! He really post it! Yepeeee… When Irwin came home while I was playing RAN Online, he also told me the good news and he brought with him the newspaper… Nice! Itatabi ko ito and ipapa frame ko pa!

Thank you Ka Pepe for selecting one of my shot and posting it… Kingdomwide mababasa ang name ko, ay hindi lang pala Kingdomwide, kundi buong Middle East… Hahahaha… Ang babaw no!? But maybe this will be the start of my new career… Ahihihi… Asa daw ba? Who knows!?

I like to thank also kneeko for lending his spare battery and speedlite flash… Kung hindi siguro sa flash and battery mo hindi mapipili yung shots ko… Also masterbetong for buying my battery grip… Kung hindi mo nabili yung grip hindi ko mahihiram yung battery ni kneeko… Hahahahaa… And to all my friends and family… Thank you all… Naks parang feeling ko nanalo ako nang award ha! Hahahaha… But for me, I can say that this is one acheivement for me and I am very proud of it… Sana meron pang next time… ASA!

Canon Battery Grip BG-E3

Another accessory of my Canon EOS 400D camera was fulfill… Thanks to masterbetong for he’s support and helping me… He is the one who choose ang bought this battery grip from Hidalgo… It’s a Canon Battery Grip BG-E3 with two battery holder options are provided – both holder were slide into the end of the BG-E3. One option allows two Canon NB-2LH batteries to be utilized (allowing about twice as many shots without a battery change). The other option allows 6 pcs. of AA size batteries to be used. So now I can check my camera set-up anytime without hesitation and make more shots… But the problem, battery is not included so I need to buy another Canon battery or rechargeable AA size battery which is cheaper but it will added more weight… then there is another accessory can be added and that is the Canon E1-Hand strap for more stable handling especially shooting in vertical position…

Anyhow there are so many advantages in this accessory, with this BG-E3 It lets you take pictures conveniently in vertical mode, with 5 of the camera’s most useful buttons and 7 of its most useful functions duplicated on the vertical grip. An on/off switch lets you disable the grip, to avoid releasing the shutter by mistake. I noticed also that while using my SIGMA 70-300mm F4-5.6 APO DG MACRO telephoto lens is more easier to control than before…

Next target is… Canon Speedlite 580EX II Flash, as of now I don’t have any idea how much is the selling price here in K.S.A…. I wish the cost is cheaper or less than what I saw on the reviews…

Our Little Princess

9 years ago was the day when our first little angle sent to us to this world… She’s Alleona Dominique, who is cuddly and sweet… The eldest of our three kids… Her Grandpa also called her Pipay ‘Coz, once when she was young we cut all her hair due to allergy, so in short she was bald and Pipoy was the character name of Larry Silva who is a bald comedy actor… So there where she got her name Pipay…

Today is was her 9th Birthday… I order Pancit Palabok and added with loaf’s and soda… Then we order two family size piza… Wallah! Birthday celebration na here together with my relatives and friends… Wala nga lang drinking session… Hehehehe… Alam nyo naman dito medyo strict!

Haaayyy… How I miss her, her lambing, arte, kulit, and sapi which she mana from her Mom… I remember pag may sapi sya, tatahimik at magmumukmok sa isang tabi… Ayaw magpahawak at ang itsura, mukhang si sadaka ‘coz of her hair… Kaya ang sarap-sarap nya lalong asarin and later on lalambingin ko till sa mapangiti ko sya… But before mo mapangiti yan daming hampas at sabunot mo munang tatanggapin from her… But sometimes, dinadaan nalang nya sa tulog then when she woke up… Wala na ang sapi!

9 years nalang and Debut na nya! Waaahhh… Tanda ko na! Magkakaroon na ako nang Princess… Don’t worry anak, on that day, looking young parin ako… Lahat ng guest mo will ask if I am really your Dad ‘coz I will be your escort too… Hehehehe… Feeling young pala hindi looking young…

Well, with regards to our wish… Ammm… We know naman that all parents wish all the best for their kids, they will give everything just for them… For them to be happy, live well, have a great future, success and a better life… Now through prayers and with his grace is the best gift you have… Happy Birthday anak…

Game Boy Advance SP

Again I bought 3 unit of GameBoy Advance SP for my chikitings… Niwala kasi yung unang pinadala ko before and as a birthday gift ko narin sa aking little girl… Yung isang unit naman kasi is ayaw gamitin ni Lean ‘coz hindi sya SP… Buti nalang at mapagbigay si Kuya kaya yung unit nya ang laging pinag-aagawan…. So now, para hindi sila mag-agawan… The best solution is ibili sila tigi-tigisa… Well may mga freebies naman and discounts… I got 10 Riyals discount in each games and and 5 Riyals discount in each unit plus free silicon crystal protection which is 10 Riyals each… So in total naka discount ako ng 75 Riyals… Not Bad!

Haaayyy… Iba na nga ang mga games ngayon… Almost lahat interactive and digital… Unlike before na masaya na ako sa Tex, Shato, Taguan, Taching Ball, Moro-Moro, Sipa, Tumbang Preso, Patintero, Super Tramp and more… But now a days, PC Games na, Online games… Playstaion 3, Game Boy, PSP, X-Box, Magic Cards and more… Paano na kaya pag nagsilaki ang mga chikiting? Ano na kaya ang usong games on that time? Anong technology naman kaya ang mauuso at maiimbento?

RAN Online

I‘ve been busy playing RAN Online this past weeks…. Medyo adict mode na nga ako kalalaro at pagpapa level-up nang character ko… and yun po ang reason kaya medyo hindi ako nakakapagupate nang aking blog… Sorry po… Hooked na ako sa paglalaro nang online games… I started playing this online games since 2004, but I am not aware of how to create a great character… Lately ko lang nalaman how to play this game… As I said before, I started playing this game since my vacation last 2004… Natigil ang paglalaro ko when I go back here in KSA… Before kasi I install it here and hindi sya nag work so since then hindi na ako nakapaglaro kung kaya napagiwanan yung una kong character… Then when I was on vacation last May this year I saw Jan, my brother in-law still playing this game… Medyo nagkainterest ulit ako, lalo na nang malaman ko na mamaw na ang character nya… So I copy all the patch he got and the installer… Then while I was on sick leave because nga po pilay and naka-cast ako, I install it and I’m suprise! Walah! It works! Yepeee… So since then, laging palevel mode and syempre para di mapagiwanan nang mga ka batch…

Before kasi everytime na magle-level-up, add lang ako nang add nang skill points… But now I know how, kaya medyo maganda na ang character na build ko… Medyo weak parin sya but time will come… Lalakas din sya… Hehehehehe… Kailan kaya sya magiging Master?
